Candace R. Wooten, MS, PA-C

Candace Wooten, MPAS, PA-COriginally from La Grange, North Carolina, Candace Wooten has been a resident of Atlanta for the past 8 years. She attended East Carolina University and she received undergraduate training in Exercise Physiology. She later attended University of Detroit Mercy where she earned her MS in Physician Assistant Sciences. She has been a Physician Assistant for 13 years and has experience in internal medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine and urgent care. She holds a certification from NCCPA. Candace also recently accepted a position with the Morehouse School of Medicine- Physician Assistant program as an Associate Professor.

She is a member of the American Association of Physician Assistants, Georgia Association of Physician Assistants, as well as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She volunteers her time locally with the Distinguished Young Women Scholarship Program and serves as the Chair and Participant Coordinator for the Greater Atlanta At-Large Program. In her spare time, Candace enjoys traveling and reading; she is a self-described "foodie."

Candace is a compassionate and enthusiastic provider and works closely with Dr. Kaufmann to provide exceptional care. She has special interest in women's health and preventative care. Candace's personal patient care philosophy is
